Why Life Stage Wellness Plans?
- Trenton Pet Hospital started wellness packages in summer 2006. These plans are offered at approximately half the cost should the procedures be done separately.
- Life stages wellness plans make early disease detection and injury prevention easy and affordable.
- You will be able to examine your "under the weather" pet up to 10 times a year without additional examination charges
- The key to a long and happy life is "wellness"
- A pet's biological age is a more accurate reflection of the conditions and the requirements that a pet needs. An 8-year-old Great Dane is much older biologically than is an eight year old Chihuahua. A well cared for cat can live up to 20 years of age! That is why our wellness plans are divided into 3 major life stages

"Old Age" is NOT a disease but the term "old age" is often used when people unwilling to seek care for their older pet. Owners are often afraid of what may be found when their older pet is ill. Owners must realize that many of these conditions are treatable, if not curable, if detected and treated early. Older pets can have healthy, happy lives when they are cared for properly. |

Puppy Wellness Package: Services Included
- 5 office consultations and 5 rechecks during regular office hours
- A complete physical examination
- New puppy consultation including behavior, nutrition, grooming and house training topics
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd boosters including distemper series, leptospirosis, kennel cough and rabies vaccinations
- Fecal examinations with each visit
- Pre-anesthetic bloodwork
- Intravenous fluids during the spay/neuter procedure
- Spay/Neuter surgery
- Comfort and care package for complete pain control after the surgery for 1 week
- Microchipping with permanent identification
- 1st bag of premium brand of food (Medi-Cal Development)
- 5% off deworming, flea and heartworm prevention medications

Kitten Wellness Package: Services Included
- 5 office consultations and 5 rechecks during regular office hours
- A complete physical examination
- New kitten consultation including behavior, nutrition, grooming and housetraining topics
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd boosters including upper respiratory series, rabies and, if outdoor, leukemia vaccinations
- Fecal examinations with each visit
- Pre-anesthetic bloodwork, including Feline Leukemia and Immunodeficiency viruses testing
- Intravenous fluids during the spay/neuter procedure
- Spay/Neuter surgery
- Comfort and care package for complete pain control after the surgery for 1 week
