DVM: TPH After-Hours Emergency Clinic
Trenton Pet Hospital - an AAHA-Accredited, Fear Free Certified facility, is launching an After-Hours Walk-In Clinic in February 2026 to serve our community when others are closed. Proposed dates/hours:
Friday 6 pm – 12 am, Saturday 10 am – 10 pm, Sunday 10 am – 10 pm (Proposed hours are flexible for the right candidate).
Work alongside one dedicated RVT and VA in a calm, efficient environment — no chaos, no overnight marathons. You’ll use Digitail’s AI-powered EMR system, which simplifies documentation and client communication. Training is provided, and our leadership team ensures a smooth, supported transition.
Enjoy your days free, your evenings balanced, and your weekends meaningful, while delivering excellent care to pets in need. No overnight shifts! Locums are welcome.
$200,000 inclusive for this 1-year contract positon (contract may be extended dependant on after-hours clinic success).
RVT: After-Hours Emergency Clinic
Trenton Pet Hospital - an AAHA-Accredited, Fear Free Certified facility, is launching an After-Hours Walk-In Clinic in February 2026 to serve our community when others are closed and are hiring for the position of Registered Veterinary Technician.
Proposed dates/hours:
Friday 6 pm – 12 am, Saturday 10 am – 10 pm, Sunday 10 am – 10 pm (Proposed hours are flexible for the right candidate).
Each shift runs with one DVM, one RVT, and one VA, allowing for focused teamwork and a calm, supportive pace. You’ll use Digitail’s AI-enhanced EMR system to streamline your workflow — training provided.
If you’re looking to sleep in, enjoy your days, and still practice meaningful medicine, this is your perfect fit.
Compensation: $40/hour inclusive for this 1-year contract positon (contract may be extended dependant on after-hours clinic success).
VA: After-Hours Emergency Clinic
Trenton Pet Hospital - an AAHA-Accredited, Fear Free Certified facility, is launching an After-Hours Walk-In Clinic in February 2026 to serve our community when others are closed, and are hiring for the position of Veterinary Assistant.
Proposed dates/hours:
Friday 6 pm – 12 am, Saturday 10 am – 10 pm, Sunday 10 am – 10 pm (Proposed hours are flexible for the right candidate).
Each shift runs with one DVM, one RVT, and one VA, allowing for focused teamwork and a calm, supportive pace. You’ll use Digitail’s AI-enhanced EMR system to streamline your workflow — training provided.

Compensation: $20–$25/hr (based on experience).
